I have been a yume since 2006(!) though I wasn't necessarily practicing for a while...until 2021, when I discovered this guy. Then the yume delusions came back full force. Normally I don't talk terribly much about this, but I think about it a lot. Since coming on Neocities and seeing just how many other yumes there are and how passionate they are, I decided to make a page for my own ship. It brings me a lot of joy and artistic muse! If selfshipping isn't your thing, feel free to browse other pages on my site where I don't gush about my pixel husbando :p

My main blorbo isn't technically a canon character, but I think he's close enough. Kaidan is a modded follower in Skyrim who stole my heart. He's a tall, dark, and handsome Akaviri swordsman with a troubled past and trust issues (and he's modeled after Godfrey Gao. Swoon!). In his questline, the last dragonborn frees him from Thalmor captivity and he offers to be their companion in return. As you complete quests together, he becomes closer to your dragonborn and slowly begins to open up about his past. He has custom dialogue for all the major questlines in Skyrim, idle chatter, responds to being given gifts, has comments about various places, has his own questlines you can pursue to learn more about him and help him fight his inner demons....and, of course, you can romance him. ♥

My Skyrim sona that I ship with him is Miz'ri, a dark elf who came to Skyrim from Cyrodiil to study at the College of Winterhold. She is cunning, loyal, studious, and adept in destruction magic. She goes dungeon crawling to find artifacts to bring back to the college's library and gladly takes up Kaidan's offer to be her bodyguard after freeing him from the abandoned prison. He doesn't really like mages, but he considers himself honorbound to Miz'ri after she saved his life....not to mention she sort of cons him into doing more work than he initially offered. :P

Though they initially squabble and have some growing pains learning to work together and navigating Miz'ri's dragon ancestry, they become close partners and learn to trust each other. Eventually, they each find themselves falling for the other--though they'd never dare to say it. Instead, they simply wonder what it would be like to kiss after a long quest...I love a good slow burn, so there's lots of meaningful glances, occasional accidental hand touches, forced proximity--all that good stuff!!
