♥ Going with the flow...

ahhh life has just been work-school-work-school-work lately. i haven't had much time or mental bandwith to do things other than play some overwatch after hours with my bestie and watch game grumps with my husband. But I'm excited for this weekend; we are going to a prom event at a local bar and the theme is Enchanted Garden. Ticket sales benefit a local charity that feeds students over weekends and school breaks, isn't that awesome? Husband ordered corsages for us :] we're going with two of our friends and someone we know, the head of my friend's skee ball league team, has been nominated for prom king ;D

i'm getting through this semester of school, but limping through it to be honest. this metadata class has been hard. the class goes until 10pm in the middle of the week, the topic is dense and technical, and the teacher, while nice enough, is absolutely terrible at giving lectures. i've had to basically teach myself everything in this class, which has been frustrating. the past couple days at work i've just spent my time on the clock reading heavy textbook material trying to understand a particular metadata coding format--though fortunately i think i've finally got it down. my homework won't be perfect, but it shows i've got a general understanding of things.

what else? otherwise i've just been playing loads of flight rising in an attempt to not go insane...and i think that's about it x_x okay everyone, let's hang in there!! tomorrow is the weekend!!!
