Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies
I'm not sure where I got this recipe from, but I know that it makes great cookies!
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks/chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
- In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla extract together until creamy.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture from the small bowl and stir in chocolate chips/chunks.
- Use tablespoon to drop cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheet(s).
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown, then cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
Notes: I baked mine for 9 and removed for maximum soft gooeyness. Inside of cookies need to be 175-185°F to be done if you want to check with a thermometer.
